MIUI: What are Mi Pilot Updates or Public Updates & Full Released Updates!

Hello Mi Fans

Xiaomi gives updates batch wise in all Xiaomi Devices, all devices receive updates in Mi Pilot then for Public and then in last for all users. Many users have doubt between them, what are these, what is the process, how to know what is the update status and many more.. There is a full process of this, now I am going to show you about Mi Pilot Updates, Public Updates & Full Released Updates.

| MI PILOT UPDATES

First Xiaomi roll out Updates in Beta, which means for Mi Pilot Users. Xiaomi gives us forum to fill and according to this forum, they select Beta Testers which is called Mi Pilot Users also. For Global & India region they have given, most of the users fill the form but only few users are selected because they have enough testers. Mi Pilot Updates Download Links are released most of the times but leaking of the ROM at the time of Mi Pilot is restricted but still, we released the Download Links. At the time of Mi Pilot Updates, we can't update using forcefully also, means not able to update using choose update package. Sometimes, only Recovery ROM is released during Mi Pilot and sometimes both Recovery & OTA ROM are released. So, this is a Mi Pilot Update details..

| PUBLIC UPDATES

After releasing Updates to Mi Pilot, Xiaomi roll out them to Public users if there would be no major bugs in the Mi Pilot Updates. Public updates release to Normal users later, and after releasing Updates to Public, users can update it via choose update package also. We can send Download Links also after releasing updates to public. Public Release Updates are Stable Updates and there are very low chances to suspend the update. At the time of Public Updates, both Recovery ROM & OTA ROM available. 

| FULL RELEASED UPDATES

Full Release Updates is just a full released, update will disappear from the Updater after Full Released which is a good news for us. At the time of full released, new ROM is also released which is called Fastboot ROM. This ROM is flashable by Mi Flash Tool and for using this, bootloader unlock is required.
