Xiaomi EOS List: Redmi Note 8 & More Devices! [Updated on 28th February 2023]

Hello Mi Fans

In this article, I am going to show new Updated EOS Devices. Xiaomi has updated their list today and they added 3 New Devices in the EOS List which is sad news for those devices users. So let's check, which devices they have added in their EOS List. 

| WHAT IS EOS

EOS in simple terms is a End of Support, but some people called EOS as EOL which means End of Low Support. Both have same meaning: "THE END". When a company adds devices in EOS list so it means that those devices will not receive a single update in any region. Device will be EOS for China Region also. 

| WHICH DEVICES ADDED TODAY IN EOS LIST

Today Xiaomi added Redmi 8, Redmi 8A & POCO X2 in the EOS List and 2 - 3 Weeks ago Redmi Note 8 Pro and Mi Note 10 / 10 Pro was added in EOS List. That means these new devices are dead now. Redmi Note 8 Pro launched with MIUI 10 Android 9 and it had received MIUI 12.5 Android 11 Upgrades and its cycle is completed and same with Mi Note 10 / 10 Pro. Cycle of Updates has completed now, these devices will reach to end ☠☠

| NEW EOS DEVICES [UPDATED ON 28TH FEBRUARY 2023]

Today more devices have completed their updates cycle, Redmi Note 8 in all regions, Redmi Note 8T & Redmi 8A Dual have become EOS now, because they have completed their updates cycle. Now these devices will not receive updates anymore.

| MORE DEVICES WILL ADD SOON

POCO X2 was launched with MIUI 11 Android 10 and it received MIUI 13 Update in India and Now it won't be getting any new Updates Also, Xiaomi pranked with Redmi Note 8 Pro, because Redmi Note 8 Series launched together with same MIUI Versions and Android Versions but Xiaomi did EOS to Redmi Note 8 Series now. Redmi Note 8 Pro will not receive MIUI 13 Update now because it is officially EOS
