MIUI 14 China VS MIUI 14 Global: Features wise Comparison!

As we know MIUI 14 is launched in China and most of the devices have received stable updates of MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Xiaomi 12 Series, Xiaomi 11 Series, Redmi Note 11 Series & many more have received stable MIUI 14 updates and most of the devices received bug fixes updates also and it is a good news for the users. MIUI 14 China changelog is officially revealed and MIUI 14 is not launched in Global but one device in Global has received stable MIUI 14 update and its changelog is also released officially. This time MIUI is going to give many features and smoothness to Global and India also. 

MIUI 14 China VS MIUI 14 Global! Most of the users want the full comparison so in this article, I am going to show you full comparison between MIUI 14 & MIUI 14 (China and Global). So lets check out the all changes. 

| MIUI 14 ALL FEATURES EXPLAINED

MIUI 14 comes with a lot of new features and optimization. MIUI 14 is a real iteration of MIUI 12 and updates also releasing very speedily by Xiaomi. So let's check out the features of MIUI 14 Upgrade. 

1) New App Vault & Widgets:-

MIUI 14 introduced so many new widgets of some apps and of pets. MIUI introduced its widgets system in MIUI 13 and now they have done some changes in widgets in MIUI 14 also which is a good news. MIUI 13 was based on widgets and it become popular due to its widgets system and now MIUI has introduced some new widgets in MIUI 14 also so lets check out the widgets. 

So these are those widgets which I have enabled in my home screen and there are so many new widgets which is available in the software. 

China App Vault Widgets are different than Global (for now global widgets not revealed because MIUI 14 update released in global and widgets available in India ROM)

2) Super Icons:-

MIUI 14 introduced a new feature called Super Icons. Generally Super Icons are based on Themes App and System Launcher. Good news: Super Icons are available in both China ROM & Global ROM and it is confirmed news because MIUI 14 global changelog shows that "After updated to new home screen and themes app, you will receive Super Icons too", and it is a good news that Super Icons are available in Global ROM too. These are many apps which support Super Icons and I have shown some apps to you, so comment now "Do you like Super Icons or not?".  

3) Large Folders:-

MIUI 14 introduced new feature called Large Folders. This feature is available in all companies now so MIUI introduced this in MIUI 14, there are 3 parts of folders now: (a) Regular (b) Enlarged (c) XXL

There is a normal folder which is available from starting and now 2 new options have been announced by Xiaomi in MIUI 14. 

So these are the first look of MIUI 14 large folders, and this feature is available in Global ROM too which is a good news for us. 

4) New Settings UI:-

MIUI Settings icons looks same from MIUI 12, and now in MIUI 14 they have done some changes but there is only small change in them. I have shown you below, you can check out the new settings look. 

5) Paid Widgets & Super Icons:-

MIUI 14 introduced some paid widgets and Super icons. In default theme, super icons are free but if you want to use Super icons of custom icons so you have to pay for them. There are some widgets also which are paid now and those widgets will be China Limited. Look of them is given below.. 

All Discover Widgets and Super icons except default icon are paid, they are not free.... 

6) Card UI:-

MIUI 14 introduced card layout also and it is available only in MIUI system apps and we can use them in both China & Global ROM easily by updating MIUI System Apps Updates. So card layout will come in both ROM's.

7) Pets Widgets:-

MIUI 14 introduced new pet widgets which is of cat and dog. Both widgets looks cool and amazing in home screen. Pets widgets will be available in China and Global ROM both and it is also confirmed.
